The county budget is one of, if not the most important part of being a commissioner. I will work to be a responsible steward of the county's resources 

I will be mindful of working to ensure Ellis County has the resources necessary to efficiently carry our the county's business. I will grow the tax base not by increasing the mill levy, but rather growing the tax base through economic development 

​I will look for ways to streamline county services or look for ways the county can better serve its constituents
